"They went above and beyond "
I honestly don't know where I would be if I hadn't been lucky enough to have Kate in my corner. She guided me non-stop through those years giving great advice, support and helping me set realistic expectations.
"Kate was absolutely terrific! "
During my case she always supported me and listened without judgement. I could feel she actually cared about me and worked tirelessly to make sure I received exactly what I was entitled to.
What does a 'No Win, No Pay' legal service actually mean?

How does the 'No Win, No Pay Law' process work?
Step 1
Initial Consultation
We’ll discuss your case, the process, fees and potential entitlements in your initial consultation with one of our lawyers.
Step 2
Cost Agreement & Letter of Advice
We’ll send you a cost agreement, written advice on our recommendations and the paperwork we need to build your case for you.
Step 3
Claim & Investigation Begins
A claim form starts the claim, and the pre-court processes begin. We continue to gather evidence and build your case.
Step 4
Claim Resolves
If your case is resolved in your favour (usually outside of Court), you’ll sign a settlement document and the monies will be paid by the opposition.

In personal injury claims it is generally best to start your claim as early as possible. There is generally a 3 year limitation period which applies to Qld claims, however, this is not always the case. To be safe, speak to one of our lawyers about your specific circumstances, to understand the time limits applicable to your case.
At No Win, No Pay Law, there are no upfront fees, and you don’t pay for our legal fees until the case is resolved in your favour. If your case is not won, you do not need to pay. If your case is successfully resolved in your favour, there will be legal fees to pay when the case is resolved.
In Queensland there is a legal cap on the maximum amount that a law firm can take. Lawyers can charge for their fees, but this has to be what is fair and reasonable, and cannot be more than 50% of the settlement monies after all the refunds to Medicare and others, and any other outlays, are deducted. It is always a good idea to ensure that you have a clear idea of what the fees could be if your case is successful, before committing to a law firm. At No Win, No Pay Law, we will always let you know the numbers and expected costs beforehand. In most cases, our client’s fees are well below the 50% cap.
We provide highly competitive rates and offer a fair price for our services, while giving your cases the proper care and attention that they deserve. We often charge a much lower fee than many others, and even boast an Accredited Specialist in personal injury law within our team — something that we could charge a higher rate for, but do not. The associated costs and work required varies per case, but we will always outline all of the expected fees, costs, likelihood of winning, before we represent you in your case.
Unfortunately, no. We do not handle cases outside of our areas of expertise. If you have an enquiry related to another area of law, you should contact another law firm working within that area of law.
This is something that we really need to talk to you about to understand the injuries and losses that you have suffered. In most cases, people who contact us do have a worthwhile case to pursue – they just don’t always know it.
